Automating Order Creation in Oracle Order Management

At iBizSoft, we have developed a solution using UI Path’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to help cut down on the time, effort and cost by reading the content of purchase order data and processing them through Oracle’s Order Management.
A file that contains order information can be scraped using an embedded OCR tool with the specific text fields selected. Then, it can then be populated in the respective Oracle Order Management form.
To do so, a simple three step process can get the job done.
- To extract the data, select the application to automate
- Use the OCR feature to extract text from the PDF application. The Oracle forms related plugins are downloaded automatically and the application can be selected for automation.
- Data extracted can be stored into variables. UiPath Studio utilizes features that simulate any typ of keyboard or mouse input that a human would use.
The RPA populates the mandatory fields at both the header and line level in the Order management form. The final result is the completion of Order creation in Oracle’s Order Management application.
