Custom search functionality in Release 12 for iStore

Oracle iStore the ecommerce application enables companies to have Internet storefronts. For both the B2B and B2C users the search functionality is very important, as users want to directly get to the item they intend to. The out of box search functionality of oracle iStore is very slow and  cumbersome. Also, the search results that are displayed also do not provide much information.

At IBizsoft we have implemented a custom search functionality that retrieves the data from the database based on a custom logic. It provides more information about the items i.e. the result set obtained from the search. The beauty of it being it is configurable. We have implemented this kind of a solution for our customers in 11i before. In Release 12 also we have implemented a custom search which is very fast and also that returns the values which the business people desire for, which inturn aids the selection of goods by the customers.
We have also implemented pagination, where it makes the navigation and selection easy.
