Enabling Express Checkout
Available for all registered users, Express Checkout allows orders to be submitted as batch jobs by using a concurrent program, iStore – Express Checkout Order Submission. In addition to the concurrent program, the functionality is enabled by setting two profile options; IBE: Use Express Checkout and IBE: Express Checkout Consolidation Time Interval.
IBE: Use Express Checkout — This profile option enables the Express Checkout functionality in all of your sites. Set to Yes to enable Express Checkout, or set to No to disable the functionality. The default value is Yes.
IBE: Express Checkout Consolidation Time Interval — This profile option determines the amount of time that an Express Checkout order will remain available to be “added to” before the concurrent program can submit it. The concurrent request, iStore – Express Checkout Order Submission, attempts to submit Express Checkout orders based upon its schedule, e.g., how often the concurrent request is set to be run (every n hours, every day, etc.). Enter values for this profile option in minutes. The default value for this profile option is 60 (minutes)
The user has to enable express checkout option in the profile page.
Once the Option is enabled a Express checkout button is displayed against every product in the catalog
Express checkout button will work only if details like shipping address, payment options are all set previously.
